Drum and Bass Tracks for five new tracks are done.
Well... at least they're recorded. Now comes the task of making sure everything is perfect before laying down guitars, keys and samples , and finally vocals.

Damien Young at Pony Music turned out to be a great asset, and the drum tones are in Grant's opinion, the best he's recorded. "The drum, room there is massive", says Grant, "The in-house kit I used there was second to none. I'm really glad we worked with Damien, ...the guy has vision, I can see that! It (Pony Music)is a frakken great place to work. I had a frakken ball yesterday! I know we were really productive, but I haven't laughed so much in ages...lol!, I was trying to go to sleep last night, and I kept on bursting into laughter."

Quinn and Michael where also very happy with the outcome. "I reckon its about as close as we've come to getting really good tones at the outset", says Quinn, "These tunes have got the same kind of tones as the session we did at Alberts in Sydney all those years ago (see Music > Sanity B-Sides) which I think were the best recorded examples of the band. We have always had people saying ' You guys sound much better live... like, I do like the recordings, but...'. But if yesterday's work is any indication, I think we are well on our way to having some recorded versions of our tunes that will finally stand up next to the live ones. And this makes me very happy. Plus I got to hang out with my bros, and you don't get much better than that."

The band spent the entire time at Pony Music speaking in an extremely bad Russian dialect, amusing themselves by trying to out gross each other with descriptions obscene and depraved. The winning submission has the abbreviation U.T.Y.N.I.F. The first site member to correctly unravel the disgusting meaning of these letters will win... um... something. Bragging rights at least.
