1994 Defryme tours with 'Radiohead'. Quinn famously introduces himself to Tom York and, in his eagerness to get off on the right foot, asks Tom how he feels about coming out to a wonderful country like Australia to promote their record 'The Bends'. Tom completely crushes Quinn's spirit by replying, not even deigning to glance at him mind you, "Well...its like... what's the fucken point?". Quinn doesn't understand the defeatist attitude and makes a personal promise to kick Radiohead's ass every show they do together, on an energy level at least. Defryme then gets bumped on the Melbourne leg of the tour, and another band gets the honors
1994 'Assault The Senses' tour with Juice, Scary Mother and The Truth. Our gig at The Phoenician Club in Sydney is our best gig ever. Insane night where we owned the room
1994 South X Southwest Music Conference in Austin TX. Other acts on the week long bill include: Johnny Cash, Thumpasaurus, Frente' and Wil Sexton. Our gig is at 'The Ritz' and we follow Frente'. Bizarre pairing.
